Which professional rules apply?
The academic direction of Rafiee Academy is exercised by Dr. S. Nouri Rafiee, a physician, who is a member ofthe Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM) with registration number282862258. The professional qualification held isa degree in medicine from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 1997), recognized in Spain on 10 September 2003, and postgraduate training in plastic surgery obtained in Argentina, with a title from the Ministry of Health (residency 2000-2004) and university specialist training from the University of Buenos Aires (2004-2008). These are foreign qualifications: they are not presented as Spanish specialist titles.
The professional rules that apply are the Spanish Code of Medical Ethics (Código de Deontología Médica, 2022) of the General Council of Official Colleges of Physicians, available at cgcom.es, and Law 44/2003 on the organization of the health professions (Ley 44/2003, de ordenación de las profesiones sanitarias), available in the Official State Gazette.
